There is always the option to unsubscribe from future emails. You cannot opt out of emails relating to your order and status updates.

(ii) In order to make purchases, your credit card information must be shared with the third party credit card processing sites that we use to process payments. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when we submit your credit card number for authorization to Authorize.Net.
